Household TVs?

I’m super new and picking up my first Rv on Saturday. My question is weather I need an rv specific television, or can I use one of the shelf from Costco?

I don’t believe that the TV’s are anything special. Many units are now coming from the factory with Vizio smart TV’s

I replace the OE TVs in my RVs. I've bought them at Walmart, Costco and Target. Take the measurements where it's supposed to fit and the measurements of the TV being considered along with all the other criteria; speaker placement, HDMI ports, HD or ultraHD....and it goes on. Good luck.

We bought a cheap 32' Spectre non-smart television from Walmart and stream with a ROKU box. One thing to keep in mind with CHEAP televisions is that the sound is not great I have added a soundbar. Issue with the Spectre is that the connections to a soundbar are limited; no blue tooth. Any RV will make television listening difficult if the fan is on using the air conditioner so make sure if you buy a television and soundbar, they will work together (connection-wise).

Yes you can change it out with any tv that will fit. I have changed mine out with smart tv’s I purchased from Best Buy

I recently replaced the Sansui TV in our trailer with a 32" Visio smart TV and other than being a much better television the only difference that I noticed and think I will miss is the Sansui had a signal strength option that made it easier to aim the wingman antenna we have.

The picture quality, sound and input/output options are all far superior.

I picked it up at Nebraska Furniture Mart for ~ $160.
