Equal-i-zer Hitch question - Keystone Terrain 250TRS

Signed the deal today for a factory order on 2014/2015 Keystone Terrain 250TRS. Not sure what model Year will be on the VIN.

Question is does anyone have the same TT with a Equal-i-zer Hitch. I plan on ordering the 1k/10k model and assume the standard shank will be what I need. TV is a 2007 Ford Expedition.

I can figure it out on the EQ website if anyone has the

"Coupler Height above ground with trailer parallel to ground"

I went from a Ford 150 to 350 and the shank that came with mine was adjustable enough to work. There is 3" difference in the two trucks

My "standard shank" worked on my Grand Cherokee as well as my F150. It does have quite a bit of range.

Same here, it works for the 2500 as well as the 1500. There is a 2" difference in height

I have to say that I didn't have to worry about any of these problems when dealing with Liberty RV in Missouri. The dealer threw in the Equilizer stabilizing system designed for my 2007 Toyota Tundra Crewmax and the Sprinter 320 travel trailer for free. They had me hooked up, tested, and double checked before getting on the road.

Go with the Equalizer

Go with the Equalizer system you won't regret it. I have the 14k version and tow a 2014 Terrain 321TBH with it and have no problems. Don't go with any of the competitors. Equalizer is the only way to go

Love mine. Doesn't require a lot of physical strength to hook up. Just raising and lowering the tongue

I'm liking mine as well. I've got the 1k/10k model and it's very easy to attach and setup. I might get the rubber caps for the friction arms that are supposed to make them quieter.

Same thing here. I've had the 4K/14K for our 321 High Country for three years and could not be more pleased!

Ditto on the love of the EQ. I came from a husky with bars. Granted this new trailer is more aerodynamic than the other I towed with the Husky but its not all in the trailer curves..... I was able to hook up the EQ with a bad back... I could hardly bend over to pick up something off the ground last week but hooking up was no issue. On the husky I wouldn't dare take both hands off the wheel. With the EQ I have to remind myself to keep both hands on the wheel!

I have the Laredo 314 RE with the 14k Equil-i-zer. I put the pads on the L brackets.

Easy to hookup / unhook. I use the tongue jack to raise the hitch and the equalizer bars just pull off the L brackets.

Yea man what they are all saying. The equalizer is the way to go in my opinion. So far the best thing besides sliced bread.

Got the equalizer 1k/10,000k 4 point when we purchased our Cougar 28 RLS
Dealer installed with break controller & RV starter kit 900 bucks .
When from 12 ft. pop-up to 31 ft. TT
have zero issues with sway & tracks great behind the 2500 RAM Hemi
Thanks to the folks on here in my opinion for the Bucks equalizer is the way to go
Happy Camping

Beckley in MD did the same by including a Reese hitch package with my Hideout purchase, but my weight distribution bars, as they set the hitch pkg up, are scraping the ground with as little as a speed bump. I need a readjustment. (TV: 2012 Ford Expedition)

Hensley Hitch

http://hensleymfg.com/

I was not satisfied with my WDH so I found a used Hensley hitch. I will say this I will never tow another TT without one. They are pricey but worth every penny. We are FT so we travel a lot. The Hensley hitch will not let your TT sway at all and it is a WDH also. The hitch stay on the TT so the only part that is removal is the shank.
