Picked up Our new camper

Excited campers we are!!

Our 29RLI was delivered to our dealer about a week ago
We drove up then and did a PDI and arranged for a couple things to be fixed

Last Thursday we went back to pu and had a chance to spend 2 days "camping" at the dealer's
campsite to check out all we could before bringing her home
We live about a 3 hr drive from the dealer

We really had just a couple small issues to be repaired

1) island doors were slightly warped
Dealer took doors off another camper and replaced them

2) On the base of the island
The woodwork was riddled with staples
They must have used a machine gun stapler for that job 😳
The dealer ordered a wood trim tape from Keystone to apply over the
Staple shootout at OK Corral area
Told him to ship it to me and I'll do that job myself

Up in the mountains at the dealers lot
Temps were warm enough to try out a/c in afternoon
and cool enough to try furnace at night

Both worked fine ( for 2 days & nights anyhow)
On the 1'st furnace cycle we tried
The heat came on fine, ran through the cycle
and then when the burned turned off
There was a very loud Pop
(Or so it seemed loud to us 2 old coots that were almost asleep)
Anyhow, we never heard the noisy again and dealer checked it out next day
No problem

In general;
We are very Pleased with overall build quality, fireplace great, leveling system great
Very roomy floorplan, bed very comfortable
Slides work smooth
Stainless steel oven and micro was pleasant surprise
Recliners are almost toooo comfortable

For $300 our GREAT dealer installed a fantastic vent fan and put vent covers on all the vents
Nothing but good to say about these folks

Cons?
1) water pump in hard to acess location
No valve or flex tube on suction for antifreeze jug
Dealer sold me the 3 way suction valve and other stuff needed
For only $6.00
I can do that little project myself
2) Apparently, all kitchen slideouts with Dometic frig
Use a fan to exhaust the hot air
That fan only runs as determined by temp sensor
But.... When it does run
It makes an annoying ( to me anyhow) high pitched whine

I Will be replacing that bad boy soon!

Sorry for the long post
To much caffine this morn I guess 😄

Congratulations. Sounds like the issues were not too big of a deal. Let us know how the maiden voyage goes.
