Slide out open all winter

Is there any issues with have it out all winter? RV dealers do all the time. We have a 2014 passport 2920.

I bet you get a lot of different answers. We are in Arizona for the winter and leave ours out for about 5 months. I have never had a problem with our motorhomes or the Bullet last winter. I hose off the slide and wipe it down before bringing it in to get any dirt or sand off the sides and in the slide rails. Good luck. John

Mine is stored at home and I only pull the slide in when we are expecting snow or severe weather. (please forgive my use of a four letter word) It has been working fine for seven years so far. Travel safely, Hank

Yep Our is stored up in Mi. already had 16" of snow and its out. I will brush off what i can till it all melts off so I can close it..

The only time that my slide is in is when I hook up and tow it; after all,
I fulltime, and feel more comfortable with the 'extra' space.

My keystone manual says to not leave slide outs open for more than 3 weeks without sliding back in. I've left mine out for several weeks due to snow and ice. Just fine.
