Electrical Problems

Having a major electrical problem. There is 110 at circuit breakers. The Fuzion 290 has a WFCO power distribution/converter center. Not getting any distribution, no 12 volt being converted nor is any 110 being distributed. All dead. Converter does not activate. Any ideas where to start??

Yep don't understand it....no power in any outlets. a/c, microwave, fridge, lights...nothing. CB's not tripped and fuses not blown. The one thing is the GFCI plug will not reset...but that I assume is because of no power to the plug...is that correct? You think maybe a fuse behind the converter is blown?

First try plugging the trailer into a different outlet even if with a 15amp adapter. If this doesn't help ... with shore power disconnected check for loose neutral in junction box or neutral bar. If you have power at breakers your problem is with the neutral. JM2¢, Hank

I agree with Hank, if there is 110 measured with a meter at the circuit breakers and nothing out of the distribution panel, it's a neutral loose somewhere. DISCONNECT the RV from the plug in, MAKE SURE THERE IS NO POWER !!!! then take the face off the distribution panel and check all connections. You also have a 4" x 4" junction box very close to the power cable input plug. There may be a wire nut loose in that junction box. It's usually 2 or 3 feet from the AC plug in on the side of the trailer.

It almost sounds like one of the power cable wires in the main power cable may have broken or come loose. This sometimes happens from pulling on the cable (dragging it out of the mouse hole) or from plugging it in with the power pedastle breaker on... Look at your plug and see if there are signs of arching and melting around the pins on the plug that goes to the campground power pedastle.
