Elec problem's?

My 2012 cougar 299 RKS High Country
Air cond is a 15,000 BTU
Went camping this weekend it was like 95 out with high dew points, this has happened before when its really hot and humid ,When I run the air ,after like 5 minutes or so the circuit breakers trip, I don't try to cool to fast like its 95 inside and set the thermo stat to 85 then down, it still trips, If I shut down all the other breakers it works great. With my surge protector at the pole it says about 17 amp draw on a 30 amp line,my question is ,wiring bad or just drawing to much power for the demand im asking for?

Also the fridge took for ever to cool down, I'm hearing this is normal when the temp is high both out and in the coach
The heat broke the next day ,so all is fine now. although we didn't need the air after Thursday, Is this normal for these units?
Sorry for the babble
Thx all
BP

Which breaker? The 20A AC breaker, the double pole 30A breaker in the trailer, or the pedestal? More than likely, the CG voltage was low from too many people running ACs.

Was your water heater on electric??????????

I can't run both on 30amp. .... I switch water heater and fridge to gas when using A/C. Fridge works better on gas anyway.
