It seems we are not knowledgeable about this new TV system they put in the above-mentioned 5th wheel. (Neither was our salesman) Our previous RV had no problem getting a signal and it was a hand crank antenna. This comes with an installed winegard antenna, however I am guessing it does not work without an additional piece of equipment we have to invest in? We never can get any local news, or anything for that matter. Anybody knowledgeable in this matter? Please don't bash because my husband wants to catch the news at night, please.

Basically for over the air make sure your tv is connected to the cable/ant connector not the Satellite connector behind the tv.

Make sure the blue light is on in the outside connection box with no cables attached to it for over the air

Do a channel scan on your tv and make sure you search for antenna or over the ai stations not cable. This will need to be done in every new location.

If this doesn’t fix it make sure you are in an area that has tv reception. Check with a neighbor to make sure they are getting reception.
