Leveling System

So we are picking up our new Fifth Wheel next weekend from Tacoma RV. This past week we decided that we really want to invest in a leveling system, looking at the Lippert System. We called Tacoma RV and they do not install them.

Question for anyone in the PNW who has had them installed.

1. Where did you go?

2. How much did it cost (if you want to share) we know the prices of the systems but looking at over all cost. i.e labor

3. How long did it take to have it installed?

4. What system did you get and why?

Thanks for any info.

I would think the best thing would be, call Lippert and ask them who installs in your area and which of their systems would be recommended for your rig. We have the six point system, which was factory installed, but others that have had it retrofitted are equally happy with it.

I purchased a Lippert "Ground control" system for my 2011 Coachman 5th wheel and installed it myself. Not difficult to do and the hardest part was getting the wires run under the belly skin. Best money I ever spent on the camper and the new 2014 Cougar I just purchased had the system already on it.
Tweety's sells the Ground control system but it's not cheap I think I paid $2700.00 a couple of years ago.

the two main front ones and two right behind the wheels.

Thank you everyone.

The husbeast is not one who would do this himself.

We called Lippert ourselves and they gave us a RV place in Pasco who is certified to install the leveling system. We are just waiting for a reply from them.
