Jensen AM/FM/CD/DVD Stereo

My 2012 Passport has a Jensen stereo. As several here have posted, my stereo also does not appear to have speakers wired to the B channel. A channel powers two speakers in the living area and C channel is for the outside speakers. Does anyone know why Keystone wired the stereo this way? Is it a power limitation issue? I'd like to tap into the B channel to power a couple of satellite speakers mounted at the entertainment center.

I wish the B was wired to speakers in the bedroom. I thought about adding some but did not. I believe it could be done.

My 2014 has the iDVD system. B is wired to the TV. Yes, you read that right. I can turn the radio on, choose the appropriate input in the TV and the sound is there. Give it a try on yours.

Im not saying that this is their (Keystone) reason, but my B channel is for the bedroom. If you don't have bedroom speakers then perhaps they wire everything like on a assembly line. If you remove the four square head screws in the face, you can pull the unit straight out and you can attach anything additional to it from there.

The TV is patched into the RCA plug on the back of the unit, it will also play out of any set of speakers you choose, as will the DVD/CD

My radio is a Rockford, but I've been told that the Jenson is quite similar, so hope this helps

Thanks for the prompt replies and good info. I have popped the trim ring off the front of the radio and spotted the four screws. I haven't had time to explore further but I will get in back to see what's there. The schematic in the manual shows the B speaker leads very clearly so they should be easy to spot.
