Atwood fridge not running on gas

We have a atwood fridge that will not run off gas. It tries to light - clicking sound and then goes to check. It works ok on AC. We know we have gas because the stove runs fine.

First thing to check is the battery, if it isn't fully charged the fridge will not light even if plugged into shore power. It will try... and try and try but no joy..

Thanks for your quick response. The battery is fully charged. Any other thoughts?

The refrigerator gas orifice is a very small one and it takes a very long time to purge all the air out of the refrigerator supply line. It may take 6 or 8 complete ignition cycles (3 attempts in each cycle) to completely purge the air. Once gas gets to the ignitor, it should light...

If you've only tried it 2 or 3 or 4 times, keep at it a bit longer.

Good Luck.

Make sure you have not accidentally tripped the battery disconnect switch. This just happened to me last weekend my switch is inside my storage compartment and one of my lawn chairs pushed it in and that is exactly what my fridge was doing. It would work plugged in then when shore power was removed it just clicked and then nothing(but no check light) I really should rewire it so it needs to be pulled out instead.(silly keystone)

Back to the gas line orifice . It is a very small hole. Mine got plugged somehow so I used a torch tip cleaning tool to unplug it. Have not had a problem since.

Did you ever figure out the problem? We have a 2015 2920BH and ours does the same thing.
