Here's a previous thread that I've commented on for this model. Absolutely love it. Trying to figure how to squeeze in at least one more camping trip this year.

We bought a 2015 Hideout 28BHS in July and love it. Not sure what the difference is between the 2 models, but ours has plenty of storage, lots of room. Love the door from the outside to the bathroom. IMO, you can't go wrong with the Hideout series.

I have a Hideout 30RKDSWE. I think it's a good affordable unit. Plenty of room and the layout works well. I don't know if you need to winterize it but before getting a bunch of parts or kits make sure you know where the water pump is and see how much room you actually have to work with.
I stayed about 40 nights in the unit this summer with no problems at all. - it was nice and comfortable.

I also purchased a 2014 Hideout 27DBS back in March. Have stayed in the trailer around 30 nights this season and put several miles on the trailer. OVERALL, great trailer! I think this is an absolutely awesome trailer for the price I paid. Obviously not a top of the line trailer, but for what it is you cant beat it!!
Have had no major issues with the trailer, just minor things dealer has repaired.
I will note with this model trailer, my weights were actually heavier than what I expected them to be. Weights were verified on a Indiana state Highway scale.
Total Trailer weight=7,000# to #7,200 depends on how much gear we have on a given weekend.
Tongue Weight= 1,100#!!! This is with two jumbo propane tanks pretty full, and a battery. This is with merely nothing in front storage compartment. Much heavier tongue that what I expected

I have a 2013 29BHS. We love the Hideout features and value. It's a bit heavy, but I like the fact that I can haul roughly 2K worth of 'stuff' in the trailer (when other weights are all under the limit of course). As jabres mentions, Hideouts are a bit tongue heavy, so just verify your tow vehicle can handle the tongue weight and added wight on the TVGWR. Mine, with some front cargo, 2 batteries, and 2 30lb propane tanks is 1100lbs.

We have a 2015 hideout 27bds and two minor issues the dealer fixed. We love it. I agree it's a bit heavier than what's stated.

We bought a 2014 27DBS last year and absolutely love it! We tow it with a Silverado 1500, but we got the different axle ratio on the truck that has a 9000 lb towing capacity. It is very roomy and has lots of storage inside (except the bathroom). The only things I don't like so far is the lack of storage in the bathroom, that the door doesn't swing flush with the trailer when it's open, and the hot water heater doesn't seem to last as long as the one in our minilite. One shower is about all you get per tank. The power awning, black water tank flush, and outdoor kitchen are great features!

We have had no major problems with our Hideout. We bought it used with one known leak in the slide but people on this forum told us how to fix the issue and have had no problems since.
