Replacing wear bar follow-up

I'm following up on an old thread from December I started regarding replacing a wear bar that got twisted up. I have a 2018 Keystone Springdale with a 12 ft slide out. Today I was able to jack up the slide and rip out the old mangled bar. My thought on replacing it is to buy a thin angled piece of steel and secure the new bar to that and slide it under the slide out. I'll then use a good 3m tape and secure the steel to the floor where access is tight and screw in the other piece to the wall. Anyone see any disadvantages to that?

I then plan on using rollers to take some of the pressure off the wear. I found these and they seem like they will work.

I did have a question with these, is there still enough room when you close the slide out with these installed to seal properly? I can't remember how tightly it seals.

Thanks again for everyone's advice!
